Uh.. the lessons they learned was probably not to keep secrets! or someting else haha!
The lesson that they learned was to just be paitent and not jump to conclusions to quickly.

They learned not to drink poisen and stabe them self, also they learned that relasonships are hard and complex.

They probably learned that love at first sight isn't all it's cracked up to be.
they probably learned how dumb it was that their families were fighting because otherwise they never would've committed suicide.
Take relationships slow. Even if you end up on ElimiDate, you've still made progress.
That their parents are mean and don't let them live their own lives.
They learned that they shouldn't keep secrets from their family. Even though they will be mad, it would be better than dying.
